Leather Goods

Whilst my primary occupation has always been woodwork and cabinetry I also like to explore and experiment with a wide variety of materials- leathercraft being a particular favourite. Below are a selection of recent products and commissions:

Moth Wallet:

A minimal bifold Wallet, this was a private commission for an enthusuiatic lepidopterist. The outer face of the wallet features a hand carved outline, and the card slots of the inside face are shaped- along with detailing on the spine- to mimic the shape of a moth.

Handlebar Bag

This bag was a custom commission for a bike-lover, designed to strap between the handlebars of their road bike. The dual magnetic closures prevent the lid from opening over bumpy terrain, and the pouch is sized to the client’s specification to hold their essentials.

Glasses Holder:

A small leather pouch to hold a pair of reading glasses, the leather is dyed in a deep blue to contrast the tan of the natural hide. Fixed with a magnetic clasp the whole design is sewn from just two leather panels
